We present an approach to recover scenes deteriorated by reeections oo a semi-reeecting medium. The approach is based on imaging through a polarizer at two diierent orientations. We analyze the image formation process taking into account changes in the reeection and polarization properties due to internal reeections within the medium. Reconstruction by inverting this process requires the estimation of the incidence angle (the inclination of the transparent medium). This angle is estimated by seeking the value which leads to decorrelation of the estimated scenes that are automatically and uniquely labeled as reeected/transmitted.
